Warm Greetings to you all. You are all aware that we are celebrating the centenary of our alma mater Andhra Medical College this year. Alumni spread across the world, present faculty and students have joined together and are organising the Centenary Celebrations on 27^th , 28^th and 29^th October 2023.

Andhra Medical College along with the attached teaching hospital, King George Hospital, is the 7^th oldest Medical College in India. It is a Citadel of Medical Education and a name to reckon with in the field of Medicine, in this India. Thousands of doctors who came out of the portals of this great Institution are serving the humanity across the globe. They earned name and fame for themselves as well as their alma mater and reached pinnacle of glory, not only in the field of medicine and research but in politics, arts, music, and various other fields also, during last one hundred years. AMC continues to be the seat of learning and the most sought-after medical institution for students even today. Apart from medical doctors, scores of other healthcare professionals also had the fortune of getting trained in the great institution during the last century.

We are planning grand centenary celebrations for three days befitting the stature and glory of our alma mater. Hon’ble Prime Minister, Union Health Minister, and our beloved Chief Minister are likely to come and participate in the celebrations. The dignitaries will also be inaugurating the magnificent commemorative "Centenary Alumni Building ", a unique project planned and funded by alumni. This iconic structure, constructed with contributions from alumni and with significant contribution by AMCANA, will be a great tribute to our alma mater.

In addition, we will have cultural events with performances by highly talented students, alumni, popular professionals, gala dinners, and other events. Alumni can meet their batchmates and share and celebrate cherished memories of their student life as well as their later experience and achievements. We are organizing a CME Program on 29th October 2023. Several alumni who are national and international experts in the field of medicine will deliver lectures on the latest developments.
